Happy Saturday — one of the best in recent memory. The Farmers Market is already underway downtown, and Horizon West has a full slate of events all day. Storms hold off until late afternoon.

The Farmers Market is on. It’s National BBQ Day. Get outside, West Orange.

The Winter Garden Farmers Market runs until 1 PM on Plant Street — get there while the morning is cool. In Horizon West, the Hamlin Hoedown kicks off at 10 AM, Southern Steer Butcher is hosting a National BBQ Day sample Saturday at 11 AM, and Backyard Boots & Brews fires up at 3 PM. If there’s a better Saturday lineup in West Orange County, we haven’t seen it. Slight storm chance after 2 PM — plan accordingly.
