Winter Garden Fire Rescue earns the nation’s highest ISO fire protection rating.

The Winter Garden Fire Rescue Department has earned an ISO Class 1 Public Protection Classification rating — the highest designation awarded by the Insurance Services Office and a distinction achieved by fewer than one percent of fire departments in the country. The rating reflects the department’s capabilities in staffing, equipment, training, and its water supply infrastructure. For residents, a Class 1 rating can translate directly into lower homeowner insurance premiums. The City of Winter Garden confirmed the achievement on its official civic alerts page, calling it a milestone for the department and the community it serves.
