Downtown Winter Garden closes roads for July 4 — here’s what you need to know before heading out tomorrow.
Winter Garden is implementing road closures around the downtown district to accommodate tomorrow’s America 250 Independence Day celebrations, the Orange Observer reports. The closures are designed to create safe pedestrian corridors for the All American Kids Parade & Pancake Breakfast (8 AM–1 PM), the Farmers Market Independence Day Celebration (noon–7 PM), and the July 4th Concert at Newton Park (6–9:30 PM) with fireworks. Plan your parking accordingly — expect Plant Street and surrounding blocks to be restricted during peak event hours. The City also reminds residents that municipal offices are closed today and solid waste collection is suspended — no trash pickup Friday, July 3.
